Instead of incriminating myself by divulging my age (49 – did I say that?), and turning readers off , I will say this about myself:
Mother of 2 teenagers, wife to one very patient husband who allows me to ’spread my wings’ & owner of 2 dogs – one a tad OCD and the other I am sure is dyslexic – or is that dogslexic?
An entrepreneur at heart, I have embraced the internet wholeheartedly. It really does suit my curious nature. Unfortunately, since getting my first computer I have developed Computerbuttitis, a common form of fat displacement. You can call it what you will … it keeps my bum warm & cushions my toosh for hours in front of the Screen God.
Presently I have been attending Deakin University in Burwood since 2003 & I am doing the final editing of the text to a picturebook to be published next year … content for another blog! I’ll start the next one in about 6 months. I am continuing my studies over Summer – a glutton for punishment – and will complete one unit a semester. Not long to go now!
This blog started as an assessment for my university unit Multi-Media Journalism. Hopefully, as I complete the unit, the posts will get more interesting. I can’t say there will not be a few twisted opinions! I couldn’t think in a straight line if you paid me.
Currently I am looking for a position in the non-profit sector in health promotion. My interests in this area are concerned with children, education and life skills development.
